Vladimir Spasié was born on 16 November 1930 in Slavinje near Pirot, and graduated from the School of Applied Arts in Novi Sad in 1953. He spent his entire professional life working as a scenographer at the Sombor Municipal Theater. So far he has presented his works at more than one hundred independent exhibitions. Also, he took part in all three art workshops "Painters and sunflowers" held at the Experiment Field of the Department of Oil Crops of the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad.
