Professional experience : I worked as a molecular geneticist at the USDA Sunflower Research Unit in Fargo, North Dakota for six years and developed DNA-based markers associated with important agronomic traits in sunflower and I am the lead editor of book entitled "Genetics, Genomicis and Breeding of Sunflower".
Education : 1989 Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of California at Davis, Davis, California, USA.
1982 M.S. in Crop Genetics and Breeding, Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan, Hubei, China.
