During his over 40-year career at the University of Novi Sad and at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops from Novi Sad, Prof. MaĊĦirevic made a great contribution in phytopathological research, primarily on sunflower diseases, as well as through long-term activities in various domestic and international professional and management bodies.
The funeral will take place on September 28th in his hometown of Sombor, Serbia.
